Building on a vision

History

Asquith Properties was the brainchild of Russell Baker and Katherine Stacey, who founded the company back in the 1990s.

They identified a market for landmark building restoration in Bradford and the surrounding area. History had left its mark in the form of a rich legacy of outstanding buildings, though many had fallen into neglect and disrepair. Asquith Properties set about restoring this legacy, with care and respect for the past combined with an innovative, futuristic approach.

From the challenge of The Barracks, a badly damaged grade II listed building in Pontefract, to the latest developments in Bradford city centre, Asquith Properties continues to pursue this bold vision. Iconic buildings, symbols of Bradford's former glory, are being restored and revitalised. They are iconic once more, symbols of rebirth woven into the city's social fabric.
